Whoa!  Fascinating read.

Hmmm maybe a good place to retire to.
Low costs, lots of peace & quiet, wildlife.

No long term hospital bills.

Now just talk the wife into it, yeah, uhuh.

Soon I expect Boroda to come on and tell us Chernobyl didn't really happen, what we think happened is a result of western propaganda.  :rofl

It would be about as real as most of his other comments.

very eerie looking place...very sad...but what you'd expect from an irresponsible nuclear program.

to those who had to leave their lives behind, and to all who lost their lives, and especially to the brave people that had to try to bring it under control.

Sorry to interrupt, but this story is fake. She wasn't allowed alone in the area, the gas mask in the children's classroom was put there by her, and a long list of inaccuracies/falsificated data.

In what way was their nuclear program more irresponsible than yours?

Btw, what was in Nash's avatard?

Thank you.

The department where I belonged before we were separated into a special IT unit in Biochemical Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Science, worked with Chernobyl data. Small portions of radiation.

I guess I know a little more about it then you do.

Just make some searches on the forum with "Chernobyl" and "Boroda". I have made enough comments on this subject, and don't want to repeat it for 5th time.

Just one thing: it's not Russia, it's Ukraine and Belorussia.

I dont doubt it, and it understand the human tragedy that it was and is.  I just have found some of your comments in the past regarding our perceptions of events being the result of propaganda, while you have the most honest knowledge to be ironic.   My apologies for my comment, it was out of place.

Good catch... there's some chatter about it on the Snopes forums, but it hasn't made it to the site yet.
