Today's silly question is I have a dive brake contol (Shift C) which planes have dive brakes?
Sure how the 51 will, heck it is the fastest plane around.

Not many fighters had dives brakes.

Just off the top of my head I can think of late model P-38's and F4U's had psuedo drive brakes by lowering their landing gear doors. Other than that, it was mostly dedicated dive bombers that had them.

Can anyone else think of others ??

P-51... NO dive brakes.  The A-36 did (which was basically a P-51 with dive brakes and some underwing hardpoints)

109...NO
Spit...NO
La-5...don't think so
N1...don't think so
B-17...No
C-47...No

I think that command is in there in anticipation of Ju-87s, Vals, and other dive bombers...
