Maybe there's no news worth reporting from the "free speech zone".

Free speech zone?  You mean all of new york city as opposed to that concentration camp like razor wire cage provided for free speech at the DNC?

The DNC was every bit as wrong as the Bush administration.

Not even close.

Lets be honest and compare apples to apples.

Which party has given peopple more right to free protest at their convention this year.

The democrats with their concrete and razor wire cage reminiscent of the berlin wall.

Or the Republicans with all of Manhattan including even the beutiful central park.

The answer is obvious, and the picture only gets worse with the DNC's stalinesque removal of undesirable media banners and the honored reception given to that propagndist Kerry Komrade Mikhail Mooreshevic..

What's the difference? They were both wrong. Of course, the DNC may have not been able to get away with it if the Bush admin hadn't already.

Come to think of it... if the DNC were smart, they did it just to prove a point.

I'm not saying they are... but we can hope. ;)

By placing all legal protest to that bizzare opressive razor wire cage the DNC excercized plenty of control over the streets of boston..
