I would light it yes...but not for planes.

well since you can see the bases on the map and pinpoint them anyway, might aswell have some really cool lights.

dynamic lighting from bomb blasts and fule/ammo storages cookoffs is a must to btw     and hit a refinery, oooooo ahhhhh

All very well and good, but without landing lights on the RWY's, it's still going to be pretty pointless.

Will I be the only one logging off when night comes around, just like before?

Are there any plans for lighted runways?

HiTech,
When nighttime first came upon us, we were able to see the ground thru a norden bombsite fairly well...then another version came along, and the ground was no longer visable thru the bombsite...do you remember this conversation at the con?  Was wondering what changed...because the first version of night was the best, still allowed low level dogfights and bombing...

Great work, will we see night?

That is one helluva screen shot. The moon lost that "glow" look to it and damn those stars look sweet!

-Westy

p.s. the first screen shot was nice!  Didn't have to change it imo.

p.s.s  the pic is the same. huh   it look so much darker on my work pc. no land or sea is visible at all. gamma, brightness or vid card wayyyy off there.

Actually,

Night sounds great, but the real use could be in a scenario. Battle of Britan and all that...
