Ok guys, I'm thinking of buying a XM Satellite Radio for my new 2004 Envoy (wish it had come factory with that particular truck, but it had everything else I wanted and I got a great deal).

Anyone have experiences or opinons?

Any tips on particular models of receivers?

Thanks !

Got one (factory install) and think its the best thing since sliced bread. Only problem I have with it is driving through highway interchange/overpass the signal sometimes cuts for a second or two. I knew local radio pretty much blew but XM confirmed it. I havent  listened over the "airwaves" since I got it.

I'm not even that into music but... I got the add on XM for my town car and like it a lot.   I like the x country station.

You don't even realize how much you hate commercials till you have xm.  regular radio needs to die.

I have the Xm RoadieII, it was about 129.00 I think and I installed it.

XM has a cool section of music stations labeled 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's I found myself listening to a lot of 40's big band music though I actually bought XM so I could listen to Phil Hendrie at work....he's on 152 :)

Does anyone have the removable face where they can plug it into a boombox looking thingy at work?  I might be interested in that.

Oh, Yeah. That sounds good.

I'd be interested in that too.
