Yep we have a lot of squad members living down there, makes Squad night interesting after a storm.....

Im in NM and all we hav are a few Volcanos that hafe moved off the hot spot that created them, so all I have to worry about is a bad Chilli crop.

I cannot reach anyone in the Turks and Caicos.  There is no news whatsoever from anywhere.

Turks and Caicos were missed by the eye they never the less received a substantial whack.

We are battening down presently the damage radius is about 180 miles across.  This one is a beauty.

I'll post on monday.....if we survive that is.

That is actually good news for me Storch.  The worst winds were in the north-east quadrant of the storm.  If the eye missed then it would have missed to the north, meaning TCI took winds from the north west, west or south west part of the storm.

Good luck to you and yours.  This is a nasty one.

Keep us informed.

Storch...where did you find that information about the eye not hitting TCI?

This storm is larger than the state of Florida.

Good luck to my friends in the southern end of our state.

Think of your family on this one.  I have rode several out, but nothing of this force.

This one is nasty (they all are, but I grew up in Corpus Christi TX, just to give you some perspective...Beulah)!

Keep safe over there.  Don't take any chances.

NUKE I resemble that remark!!......:D

Looks like I should only get some rain and maybe a little wind. Living in NW Florida today definitely has its advantages.

It is a hot, humid, swampy area, but there are some perks. The winter months are what I live for.  From October till May is awesome! No snow, beaches are great for the "Scenery" and I can ride my bike year round.

Thanks mate...I actually just spoke to our MD a few minutes ago.  Phones are back up in Grand Turk and power is being restored now.

TCI dodged a bullet.  Apparently the storm wobbled off it's track to the north, passed TCI and then resumed on its original path.

Thank goodness for that.

Hope everything is okay for you guys.  This could be a huge disaster for Florida, being whacked twice in a month.

Be safe.  I'll be thinking about you all.
