I would rather see hardtops, and 68s instead of 69s but that is cool.

Don't like convertables personaly. Always seemed like chick cars to me.

I have to agree Here, I rarely drive my convertable GTO, I'm ALWAYS driving the HT, The other 65' rag I have I'm restoring for my daughter, I will rarely drive it. You can't really drive it anywhere, unless you leave the top down or windows open. I just had a new top put on the rag and within 2 weeks some idiot sliced the top open for the stereo. The car was parked infront of my house with the doors unlocked. Always Unlocked, rather lose a cheap Cracko stereo than a new top, but NOOOOOOOOoooooo, stupid pinhead didn't even check if the doors where unlocked!!!!

Unless you know you won't be leaving the car unattended, be prepared for damages. Thats why it's the Hard tops for me:)
And even then you have to keep it in eyesight.

But I have to agree Convertables are for "Girlie men" Wife hates the convertable ( messes up her hair ), Dog LOVES the convertable ( messes up his hair ) and wipes the slobber off his face.

Come to think of it, It wipes the slobber off my face also.

Some guy is trying to sell a 65 lemans hartop for 16k right around the corner from me. It is a 20 MPH car, I got close and it has paint bubbles and some flaws.

16k for a lemans, no wonder it has been sitting out there for 3 months now hehe

you like a 68 better than a 69?   I like a 67 or a 69 but a 68 is just a 67 that they left out the vent windows on.

The hardtops are coming but they will be a few grand more... apparently it is harder to form the roof.

Laz
Yeah I like the 67 and 68s better then the 69. I dont like the ridge down the side as much. Still like the car, but the 67 68 are smoother looking to me.

I hate the 69 firebird, the 67 and 68 are nice though.

I wonder how good they will be? Will youhave to cut out the vin tag from an older body or will these be Kit cars?
