I want to make some banners for Squad Ops. We have not put any up for a long time. I have some good screen shots, but would like to have several more.

If you have some nice shots of formation flying (any AC) buffs or fighters. Or some great kill shots post them here. High quailty .jpg or .gif would be best. :) All theatres or years.

Thanks!

Trukjr those are great pics! Does he have any without the call signs? I need pics without the id tags and call signs. :)

I'm not sure what happens to the previous pics. I'll try to find out if he still has them & if there is a way to show them without the icons.

Thank you sir.  My guess he would have to take pics with icons off. I use them for the banners. We have a Squad Ops one in the works.

Hi daddog

I use a third party graphics program to take screen captures from AH film. Normally I leave the icons on, but if there are some images you are interested in, it is easy enough to go back through the film and leave the icons off or I can just edit out the callsigns and id tags on many of the existing images.

I usually archive films from Squad Ops, Snapshots, Special Events and squad missions so I have a pretty good library to choose from. Let me know if you are looking for something in particular or if some of the current mission images will work, I can touch them up pretty easily. Like I said, I normally only post the CT mission images but have a lot more pics from other events that may also be of interest.

Thanks APDrone, looking now. It takes me quite a while just to view one if they are all 5 megs. :)

Skyfoxx I will look through yours again and see what ones would work well. Pics from other events would be good. I don't want to use CT pics if I am making a banner for Snaphshots and Squad Ops.

Yeah, I thought about compressing them.. D'oh.. I coulda zipped 'em. Forgot they're bitmaps.

I wanted to keep original resolution, as I've seen some folks with fantastic detail on their screenies, and wanted you to have best detail I had.. Not sure if they're taking them from film at a higher resolution or if there's some other settings or editing going on.

Anyway, I'll see if I can zip them up real quick.

eidited:  They're out there.. sorry for the inconvenience.

Daddog,
I was thinking about making a short video for squad ops.  Take a couple of frames and making something from that.  Just the only thing is that I am limited by the camera angles and views.  Maybe if I could get enough guys to film it, I could do something good.

I think that is a great idea! Would you want a few people to send you their films from the same frame of a Squad Ops or you thinking of a collage from different Squad Ops? Let me know and I can help you with either idea. :) Not in the making of the film (no talent there) but in sending you some films. When your done we could post it on the Squad Ops web site for who ever would want to download it and view a Squad Ops. Great idea Stream. :)
