Who is Al Sharpton?

I know who he is...but I guess what I am after is what does the man do?

How is he quailified to advise anyone on anything?

Does the man have a real job?  Has he ever had a real job?

Who pays for the gold watch, the gold chains and the Guicci suits?

My island has been graced with the presence of this man.

Frankly I am appallled that he is here to advise us on anything.

He's a race-baiter along the same lines as Jesse Jackson and any of the current self proclaimed "Black Leaders".

He's always offended or at least manufactures "offense" by purposely distorting "things" so that he can grand stand.

His own racism is never far from the surface. He denounced Jews as "diamond merchants," and called whites who wished to move into Harlem "interlopers" among other things.

He is most famous for falsely accusing a former New York DA of raping Tawana Brawley. The NY grand jury looking into that case called it "fraudulent".

He claimed that only he represented the interests of people of color while running in the Dem primary etc...

He's a complete moron.

EDIT:

He's also an author of the book "Al in America". It's comedy gold and if you ever want a good laugh just browse through it at your local library.

Nevertheless, I have noted that he was ordained a minister at 10 years old...and that he was James Brown's road manager for 7 years.  The rest of his career has revolved around churches and politics.

So...he had a real job for 7 years.
