Maybe a 40 foot boat, sails down tryin got keep nose into the wind. He's about 1/2 mile out.

He's up wind of a bridge that he will smash into if he drifts or turns downwind. Winds about 70 mph.

Some handsomehunk in the intercoastal, probably broke his mooring, is trying to move the boat.  50-60 MPH winds, so he can't make any headway, and is stuck trying to hold the nose into the wind.  Downwind is a bridge, so he is screwed.

Looks like he has a roller jib.  He could feed it out about 2 foot and beat to port, but he is porbably alone.  Geraldo said he may have his anchor out.  If he does and it holds, he will be ok.

But the hurricane is still coming and it's moving slow, so he will be there for a LONG time if he's lucky.

I'm no sailor, but no way would I want to be him.

He has to have at least one anchor out, otherwise there is no way he could hold his position.

Watched a bit of Fox news last night, funny watching the reporters should be interesting as things progress and whos still doing the outdoor reports.

Thing that gets me about Fox news is how biased they are. Their always saying how balanced their news is but it's anything but. Sometimes it's almost too painfull to watch with their Republican spin.

If it wasn't for the Fox Women I would of changed channel  back to BBC.  :D

It's no different than any other news station except they have a conservative bias instead of a liberal one.

My point exactly, glad you agree. Bias not balanced.

Like watching some kind of 80's communist party news service at times with their bias portrayal of events, comments and interviews.
