why is it that i have this adware on my machine that only triggers when i come to this message board?

it redirects me to the main AH site. very annoying. i got it after installing (stupidly) a screensaver from gamewallpapers.com

anyone else have this problem?

Millions are having problems with spyware/malware. Removing can be as simple as running Adaware to as difficult as wiping your drive and reinstalling everything. Good luck to ya.

I stopped having problems when I stopped accepting stored cookies from all but a couple sites. I also do not allow active x programs to run unless i know the site. This blocks a few sites but I find I don't miss them a bit.

Try a different browser. I like IE fine but since it makes up almost 90% of the browsers out there it is the one that gets attacked. I am using Mozilla-Firefox now and am having much fewer malware incidents.

which one did you catch ?? 180solutions perhaps ?

you probely caught it from the wallpaper site ( i tried to catch one from a wallpaper site a few weeks ago)

Trendmicro 's viropedia will tell ya how to get rid of it.
