Sorry if its already been discussed, just have a quick min to post then im back to work...
I like how AH gives you several options for the Plane Icons, all, friendly only, none, etc. I'm not quite ready for the Friendly only option :-)
I'd like another option that could go with those...Range Deadband.
Instead of 0 yards to 6k, I'd like to limit the low end. So I could set it to 1k to 6k. I think 6k is plenty, I dont want to have that raised any higher.
Personally I'd like the arena to have the range of only 4k, but thats not the point of this request.
The reasoning behind this is once I'm withing 1k feet and gaining.. i start focusing on the #s more than what the enemy is doing. And when i hit that Magic 400yrds i start firing. Id rather have the #s disappear when I'm withing 1k so that I can concentrate on the plane, and visualize when to fire based on the size of the plane / wing distance.
Guess it goes back to my days of Falcon 4 and having to guage the wingspan and the cone of fire.
Another similar idea would be any plane within 500 yards would have the #s, as well as the plane type letting gone, so it would only have the red country symbol.
The think the overal benefit of having these options would be a more realistic attack sequence where its just you and the plane and not a lot of "helpfull" clutter.
