I set mine at an odd res 1152x864x32
I would run it at higher res but I dont want to have to stick my head inside the monitor to read this BB.

Wow, I have a 21' monitor and use 1024x768 resolution in game.  I have a PIII 650 with GeForce II card.  I guess I should pump up the res, eh?

Is gunnery more difficult in higher resolutions?  Would it not make the target smaller?

Now I don't have a monitor.

Anybody want a cat?

When I play AH I don't have much of windows loaded. Booting straight into the game saves on resources.

Actually the higher resolution makes gunnery easier IMO.  The planes are much bigger on the screen.

(I run Windows and Ah at 1024x768 btw.)

Heh.

Hey Wob, try this on a Win2k or NT4 box.  Might work on 98, I dunno, but the registry would be different.  Go into the registry and find the "Local Machine|Software|Microsoft|WindowsNT|CurrentVersion|Winlogon" key.  Look for an entry for shell, and change it from explorer.exe to cmd.exe.    No gui.
