Ya..the workmen's fault.

20 quid says he was checking out some nice little crumpet on the sidewalk when he went into the concrete.
:rofl :rofl

You would be amazed at what gets blamed on paving crews.

We once had a Dallas P.D. motorcycle cop set up a speed trap (unasked for) in our work zone on I-635. He was sitting in an area we had removed 5 inches of pavement. He lost control of his motorcycle and was killed trying to jump that 5 inch difference at 50mph going after a speeder. His family sued us.

We had a driver enter our work zone on I-35, cross the safety barracade and hit a 35 Ton roller. His family sued us.

We had a Corvette driver ignore 2 different flagmen and drive down a street we just sprayed "tack" (liquid asphault) on in preperation for paving. He sued us.

Seems those signs at the entrance of work zones are there so stupid people know who to sue.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

That concrete pour must be at least 50 cm deep...

The motorway concrete budget in Britain must be enormous...

Thats a good pic, I like the way he seems prepared to 'go down' with his ride, like the old sea captains.
