It seems that the new ENY adjustment thing is a method for HTC to reach a goal of balance of numbers among the teams. Time will tell if it will work or not.
Seems some enticements have been used without much success. Another option might just be to motivate people to switch countries via a financial reward. When logging into the MA, a pop up screen could be displayed showing the number balance. At that point, a player could log in as normal or choose to switch to lowest numbered country. If someone switched to lowest numbered country every time they flew (some sort of minimum flying requirement would have to be met) for an entire tour, then they would receive discount in monthly fee. Yes, this would be HTC giving them discount, not the community.
I would guess there would be some players that normally wouldn’t change sides that would with the right financial reward. Me personally, $15 would not motivate a change, but sure it would to some. It would also show how serious HTC is about balancing numbers (putting $$ up to make it happen because surely it would cost).
