I posted a message yesterday about this but cant find it now....comes with my age I suppose.

Anyway, It concerned not being able to land kills in a GV, no matter where you land them.

It now has happened a second day for me, where I have had at least 12 kills not recognised by the HOST stating that I had ditched, when therre is no chance in the entire universe that I have ditched. As a new member, this is really p*ssing me off.

There is clearly a bug in the game to do with landing kills in GVs, for everyones sake, fix it HT please.

The worst one was when I defending a base and shot down five fighters, then went back to the GV pad to make sure I landed the kills and got told again that I had ditched. I logged off and walked around the house swearing to myself for an hour after that.

You should get a successful landing as long as you exit while parked on any hard surface on a friendly field, or associated town. I would be more concerned about the effect this is having on you though? It is only a game, don't get so worked up about it!

Can understand his frustration. There doesnt seem to be ANY logic to where you can get a succesfull landing or ditch. Exited in middle of nowhere got successful landing, other times its a ditch.

Goes along with landing aircraft.
Anywhere in port or vehicle base results in successful landing.
1 inch off runway at airfield is a ditch.

Happened again last night. Drove all the way back to the hanger with 3 kills (airfield 22), went inside hanger....turned off engine...said I ditched, stupid game.

ALong the same lines, I was out in the bush hiding from some IL2s. Got damaged, so just typed .ef to get out of there, said I landed.....WTF?

I know it is just a game, but I pay money to fly in here, so want the same chance at getting my ranking down, especially in GVs as this is my Forte.

HiTech, please look at this so it can be fixed ASAP.

ps. I have landed a plane in the middle of a runway and it said I ditched, only once though.

pps. I have now lost at least 30 kills due to this brain dead bug.

Happened again!!!!!!!

I parked my tiger on the concrete runway...said I ditched....

1. No, there were no enemy near us, we had killed them all.

2. The base was not flashing.

3. I parked the tiger in the middle of the runway, yes of my own country.

4. I have had no problem with AC on the night, landing kills etc.

Not happy, I will be expecting to get my perks back....not happy about the bug that has not been fixed yet. I will start with 22 perks, then we can discuss the rest of the kills that I have lost.

HiTech, is there a way I can get my perks back? I am being ripped off for no reason. Where can I email you to get this worked out...preferably sooner rather than later.

I am not going to get into another GV until you (or someone) can guarrantee that I will not be "ditched" when I am obviously not ditching. This is a stupid bug in the game, please fix it.

Happened again,

Have people landing kills around me, in towns, on runways, near hangers etc with no problems. I can not land a GV at all.

Program has a bug, HTC does not want to consider it or fix it it seems.

Meanwhile, I pay the same fee as everyone else, but get only half a game.

Get your act together HTC and fix the problem.

Have you captured this with the flim recorder? I haven't notice this but I don't use gv's very often...

From what I've read, here on the BBS, HT will not even look at
anything unless it is filmed. On your next GV sortie, when you are
RTB, hit CTRL R to turn on your recorder. If it happens again then
send that film to HT and let them look at it.

BTW don't forget to turn off the recorder after you're in the tower.

Just out of curiosity, what connection do you have to the internet? Try filming this and wait for 30 seconds or so while stopped on the runway before exiting. Maybe your client side is showing you something that the server doesn't see???

Happens to me also... can't get GV kills no matter where I stop on the VH field....sez I've ditched. Happened last night and had witnesses. Bad Bug, Bad!!!!:rolleyes:
