A few nights ago, I'm in the MA, Baltic map, somewhere over the water, not near any particular base. I'm approached by three high FW's. I fly into them, ACCEPT the fact that I am FLYING INTO them, and begin a BnZ defense. (I personally think that 3v1 are fun sometimes).
Ok, so I've already concluded that the odds will be stacked against me, and I'm fine with that. I didn't turn tail and run, I went in after them and mixed it up.
Of course, after I dodge a few passes, and the E of any one FW is starting to equalize with me (note, not the angles, there are still three of them, one of whom is staying relatively high, I can't saddle up), a fourth FW comes in. Ok, that's cool, I can handle that, at least three are lower E, he's the real danger.
Yet a few minutes later, something happens that really blows my mind. A 5th, 6th, and 7th!!! FW all blow their alt (we were all at maybe 3-5k by now) to come slashing away at me. I saw them up there before they dove, and they were well over 10k.
Now the interesting thing is, I'm not in a perk plane. I'm not in an La7, Spit, Pony, D9, Niki, or anything like it. I'm in a 109G2.
I have this engagement on film. I feel that it is a pretty darn good example of a silly little thing that people do. Although I agree, if you fly into a base where you have lost your cap, and find yourself surrounded, you really have no justification to complain. This scenario is a little different, and one that I've sadly been seeing a lot of from all three sides.
This is a scenario where I've cheerfully gone in against bad enough odds (3v1), over neutral territory, only to have it replaced by 4v1, 5v1, 6v1, and finally 7v1. Every last one of these FW's dove quite a bit to get to me.
And what happened when they finally got me (over six minutes, and nearly all their E later)? Well, they had no E left and were slaughtered by my belated country mates

All's well that end's well.
I just kind of felt like a mouse being tossed about by a bunch of kittens.
Personally, I feel that the 5th, 6th, and 7th FW at the very least would have been better off keeping their E, and going off to wherever they originally intended to when they took off. I guess kills are hard to come by in Rookland? (J/K, This definately goes on in all three countries, largely to the same extent)
At any rate I think this is a pretty good example of what has been going on in the MA as of late. I've only been on AH for a few months, so I can't tell if this has always been going on to this extent.
I see Knights and Bishops do this too. The first enemy that comes by is swarmed. The next enemies that come by have alt because you were all too preoccupied ganging up on that one sole fellow.
I'm sorry for the long post, and I hope it didn't come off as too much of a whine. I'll still be flying into those three and four vs. ones because I think they are fun. I just think the game would be much better off if people would all draw the line somewhere. I know I'm not blowing my E I've spent the past few minutes climbing for just to fight over some table scraps I probably won't get anyway.
Just something a lot of people evidently may want to think over.
