Time for a change
« on: May 09, 2000, 05:35:00 PM »
After noticing the late night roster the past several days, and the difficulty of finding a fight against the knights and rooks, I have decided to take my squadron over to the rook side.

I am not talking about a slight margin, the roster at 12am to 1am is typically about 2:1 bishops to knights, and 3:1 bishops to rooks. Last night for a while there were 31 bishops against 9 rooks.

I am not whining or complaining, just simply pointing out that the roster has been out of balance for a while now, and we are going to do our part to try to even it out.

(please, no lame traitor accusation replies)

Thanks

Why; you....

"(please, no lame traitor accusation replies)"

.... ummm; ahh, considerate, kind hearted soul; does this mean you'll bring them boys back home when the situation reverses itself??

I will miss you.
You were one of the pilots that made me feel very welcome in my first week of Aces High.

Well, could be worse, you could be closing your account.   Looking forward to shooting you down.

Konw exactly what ya mean and was allmost concidering it myself. But,since you are switching this means for much more intense fights. And these are allways welcome. I dont HO nearly as much as i used to as i only load out 4 .50s now. So we should be getting into some very nice vertical & hi E fights.

Cyas up.

NO, NO, come back to the Knights!  (We like those Luftwaffle rides you know.  Besides that, it's a well known fact that our sheep are superior to Rook sheep.   )

(I do know what you mean though.  I logged in for just a second last night and saw 48 bish, 18 knights, and 22 rooks.  I decided to go to the training arena for once, and we ended up having a no-icon spitV vs 109F4 battle that was a blast.)

Yo hb!!
        Ditto my squaddie wizzer bigtime
Very glad to have you on the Rookland Express. You are an excellent pilot, but more importantly, you have a good attitude in the game. This is required in Rookland in order to endure the long two-front poundings we regularly receive I think you will nonetheless find life here quite stimulating.
And VERY little whining amongst Rooks at our plight. Cya up !! <S>

Well, I'm gonna miss shootin at kbman, wizzer, and hooly, I owe em all a shot in the bellybutton or two, especially after last night

But I will now give a 110% of my efforts to see ROOKLAND withstands and destroys the Bishop Imperialistic Empire, as well as the Knight Socialist Regime.

<S> Bishops was great flying with ya.......NOW CHECK 6!

Wow! Thanks!
That will definitely cut-down on the number of 109s I have to fight!

Yes Knights are Socialist, I've seen it with my own eyes.....You guys share your sheep with each other, instead of OWNING one.

Bishops on the other hand, Want to take over and invade everyones' sheep.

Rooks are a Democracy, and as such, Congress and the President can't agree on whether to tax the sheep or give em equal rights.

The Musketeers switched to the Knights for a few weeks, and it was fun seeing different names and combat styles.  We too saw lopsided
numbers and will stay as Rooks.
