No.  The prototype looked exactly like a production  Mosquito with shorter nacells and a smaller verticle stabilizer.

That looks like a decoy but I suppose it could bt the high altitude Mossie that never went into production.  I don't know why the engine nacells would be so distorted though.

The one and only Vickers 432, dubbed unofficially the "Mayfly".  Designed by Barnes Wallis as a pressurized high altitude interceptor.

Difficult to handle on the ground, nice handling in the air.

Performance  320mph at sea level, 440 at 28K, 400 at 40K

Armament 6 20mm cannon.
