I disagree X2, put up about 10 bombers on a HQ raid, watch how 'ignored' you are...

At the risk of sounding repetitive:

DOIT DOIT DOIT DOIT DOIT DOIT DOIT DOIT ...

Great idea! Would be even better if you could "surprise" the ack at a field for 1 pass.

The inflight radar, in all it's forms, is the  worst feature of AH

Hi All,
Really glad to see this one finally becoming a reality. Getting the 1st pass in on the acks without them reacting is also a good one (Although I think if you are on dar (I.E. not NOE the acks should be waiting for ya). Mind you 1 problem I can think of is assuming vehicles won't show on dar (Although if they climb up hills higher than 500ft I think they should) in theory a panzer, ostie etc could pound a field until it's dead and then bring the goon in without defending forces even knowing it was under attack. I think the dar should be activated as soon as the 1st structure goes down.

Just my opinion

So long as vehicles still show as sector bars.  In reality a base would not be deserted, and friendly forces notified.  Until we have an alarm system for the bases we need sector bars for vehicles.

But I'm all for no sector bars for NOE flying.

Good Idea

It will definately add another aspect to tactical/strategic missions, whether its a loner run or a massive surprise assault.

YES!
Man, NOE the earth B-26 raids again (Those who have never tried that, get someone to do to fly the B-26 and then join them and go sit in the nose...what a view!   ) Hopefully we will be getting a Mossie soon for those high speed NOE Buff missions
( Mossie = Perk Bomber?)

If Htc. implement this, I would like the CV commander to have the possibility to disable Carrier for operations. This way he could prevent a single pilot popping up out in the middle of the ocena can ruin a surprise TG attack.

Hehe Pepino, yer high

Give the commander an option to hit a button and ZAAAP the CV disapears?

What's so suprising about a plane comin' across a fleet undetected? I'm sure there were plenty of ruined 'suprise TG attacks'.

The discussed radar implementation would be great.
