Oldman do you really have the time to do this? You once told me that you like to come in and find a fight (furball) as soon as you can because you dont have much time to fly. If that is true, do you have the time to be an aux staffer?

An excellent question, P6E.  Like Arlo, I would prefer that someone else be elected to this position.

I think that the overwhelming support that Oldman has for this auxiliary position will elevate his enthusiasm.  He will give in to peer pressure and rise to the occasion.  It’s not like anyone is going to expect him to be patrolling the arena every night, or even every week.  When he is asked to create a set-up however, the community is apparently confident that he will do a great job.  He also has a degree of level headedness and maturity that can be void in the CT.  Perhaps so many have voted for him because they know the CT could use a virtual father figure.

There is more to this job than gung-ho enthusiasm and complete dedication.

That, if nothing else, has earned him the right to be elected.

Personally I'd like to see him give it a shot.

Then if after a month or 3 real life proves its not possible hand it down to the guy who got 4th place.

But I think once he got started he'd get hooked on it and be a steady freddy.

Come on Oldman, do it for your fan club.  :)

Hawk,

I considered this too before I voted. I did vote for Oldman for two reasons after much consideration.

1) He is a fair and impartial guy with an even temperment.

2) It is an auxillary position not full time.

I say give him a shot. I have to admit I was surprised that with the number of posts you have made about what you believe the CT needs, that you didn't make yourself available for the position?

I think that if there is one player that should categorically be OBLIGATED to be on staff it's OM.

He is easily the most affable person I have ever run across in this testosterone laden type A personality dominated game.  STFU already hawk you are sounding like my wife.  :D
