Ok, this is getting annoying...

I get to the message board main page, there are lightbulbs (unread) on maby 4 sections.. (bug reports, Greneral Discussion,O-club and History) I go into bug reports and post a problem (like I did this one to no avail) or answer a question or whatever, I use "back" to get back to the main BB page(as i always did)..suddenly there are no lightbulbs (unread messages), everything is showing as being read already when I havent even entered that section of the board much less looked at any of the posts.  This has happened to me 5 times already today, whats the deal?  Every time I reply or sometimes just look at a topic, all other topics in the BB suddenly are no longer listed as "unread" and I dont know which threads have been updated anymore.

Wobble, please use the prozak..no need to get angry at us..sometimes *we* don't have all the answers...I can assure you this is a browser problem and should be posted in the Technical or Hardware/Software forums.

Somewhere I read that the lightbulbs work off your cookies file.  You need to set em to work for the lightbulbs to work.

well i DID post it there 2 days ago. no replys, now i get 2 (1 just being a jerk) but at least i got a reply.

   

Edit: thanks MrBill, cookies are set as "enabled" anything else,

NOTE: it doesent do it ALL the time, just prolly 1/3 the time.

Make sure the whole page is set as your favouvite (yes, WITH the nice but bugging little gif on top), NOT the frame itself...

The following might also help:

A-Cookies Enabled

B-IE or NN Options ---> "internet temporary files"--->settings---> set it to refresh "on every hit"
C-Exit IE / NN

If it still doesn't work. try to click on "refresh" while holding the SHIFT Key.

NOTE: I am experiencing this as well sometimes behind a proxy, maybe your ISP hase a cache server, try to get some info...

NOTE2: "If" any info(especially related to IP adresses) is not only saved as a cookie, but as well on ad DB @ the HTC site, and you are browsing the BB from 2 different comps, that might give the BB some hickups...

As a last resort (this works for me) just delete your internet temp files.

Wobble Click preferense, then there is a line labled delete call cookies, it should fix you up.
