Sustained Rate of Turn

This is my first post, so please excuse me if I'm somehow screwing this up.  I am trying to find a way to determine the relative sustained rate of turn difference between different a/c for obvious tactical reasons.  

So far I've gathered that sustained rate of turn is effected by the lift being produced by the wing (the component involved in coming to the instant rate of turn) and also by the power loading of the aircraft.  

It would seem then that the climb rate also involves a similar combination of powerloading and the ability of a wing to produce lift.  Therefore can the climb rate be used as an effective rough and ready way to determine Sustained Turn Rate...like for example the La-5FN climbs faster than the P-51D, therefore it also has a better sustained rate of turn.  

Or does anyone know of experimental data gathered showing the relative turn rates (109G10 sustained turn out turns P-51 which out turns a Typhoon and so on) so that a pilot like myself could know whether I can outturn the plane I'm engaging.

aircraft weight to horsepower and amount of area of lift that can be produced also comes into play.

your looking for the best turners well a6m and hurricane are probly the top two .. in the horizontal for the most continus turns.(not counting the c-47 )

I would love to see turnrate and sustained turnrate as well as energy loss data on the ah2 aircraft, also including data with combat flaps.

But i think the only page i found was for ah1 and i understand some aircraft have changed with the new model.

Anyway to get the data for the ah2 aircraft?

I don't know that there are any new EM diagrams out for AH2 yet but Badboy posted a number of them for AH1, you may want to do a search on that (by his name or "EM diagram").  I know I have quite a few for AH1 but I'm not sure how relevant they are anymore and they only account for very specific conditions (ie, specific weight and altitude).

There hasn't been a lot of AH2 data out there yet, the aircraft are still changing a bit and not all have had some of the remodeling that is likely expected (some have).
