Democratic Party New Anti-Bush Video
« on: September 14, 2004, 12:18:18 PM »
This is the new 3 min. video sponsored by the Democrat Party.

Apparently, they simply cannot let this question of George Bush's Guard service go. Even if it is costing them the election. They just don't get it. We really don't care what about yesterday as much as we care about tomorrow.

What is John Kerry's plan? Apparently, just attack, attack , attack.

And was'nt it the DNC who was threatening the Swifties with legal action and tried to block their book at the publisher level.

Now the come out with a video doing just what they condemned the swifites for?

And guess who makes a cameo...Dan Rather and the Nervous Breakdown ANG Commander.

So if the 60 Minutes piece turns out to be BS, does that mean thisa video will never see the light of day?

John Kerry's campaign is being handled so poorly, it looks like he wants to lose.

I don't care what Bush did or didn't do 30 years ago.  What he has and hasn't done in the past 4 years is enough for me to base my opinion on.

It is a plausible scenario, but a dangerous approach. Whomever win this election will get to be POTUS during a serious economic recovery that is just now getting going. Kind of like what happened in 1992. The economy was just coming out of recession when the elections happened ('just' in economic terms means 6-9 months) and the recently elected POTUS got the credit for it. If current polls are accurate and the trend holds for another ~1.5 months then the VPOTUS is all set for  election in 4 years.

Oh wait...the Veep is Cheney...scratch that! Dick could NEVER get elected. Mark my words, shortly after the election of Dubya, Cheney will resign for 'health' concerns and will make way for a popular centrist who can get elected in '08. Someone like say...Guilianin?

Who is advising Kerry? Why is he following such bad advice?

Who is it in the dem party that would think this type of thing could help Kerry?

They should leave this sort of thing to their 527's at the very least. It’s bad enough that there is innuendo that the 60 Minute memos came from the dem party / Kerry camp and that they are forgeries.

The Dem strength has been in the social issues and in Clinton's case the economy. Why would Kerry spend some much time of what happened 30 years ago? Or flip flopping on Iraq?

I guess he still expects "Bush Hate" to carry him and all he needs to do is keep stirring up the hate to keep his "Bush Hater" bloc energized.

There is definitely a lot of Bush hate out their but even if Kerry wins what kind of mandate will Kerry have coming out of an election in which he would have won based on "hate" of the other guy.

He is a pathetic candidate and is running a pathetic campaign. Hell even that kook Dean would have been better then Kerry at this point.

This is all they have.  "Bush Sucks" and "I'm Not Bush".  One-trick pony, and they are going to ride it right into the ground.  Here's hoping for McCain vs. Powell in 08.

That was funny.  They keep emphasizing "answer the questions".  He has.  What they should say instead is:  "Answer the question the way we want you to or we'll keep ignoring your answers and asking the question".

Wotan:  this is still the same pathetic campaign that the Kerry folks were running prior to the primaries when Dean was whooping his butt and the Kerry camp was in chaos.  Nothing has changed except that the voters in the primaries thought Kerry was "electable," so they chose him over Dean.  How bad of a choice they made.  At least Dean stood for something.

I think that sums it up right there.  If Kerry had just given the Democrats something to stand behind, he'd be doing far better.

"I'm not George Bush" will move you along, but not take you to the White House.
