The presence of political influence to get GW in the guard makes folks suspicious about his behavior while he was in the guard. This question, more or less, makes the dd-214 meaningless.
Political influence is a big no-no, at least for elected officials. Anyone know off hand how many children of sitting congressmen actually served in Vietnam? As best as I recall, the number is zero. Or was that the number who died?
