Aw heck, Lazs, this is just a fart in the WC.  Nothing is going to come of it.  

The presence of political influence to get GW in the guard makes folks suspicious about his behavior while he was in the guard.  This question, more or less, makes the dd-214 meaningless.

Political influence is a big no-no, at least for elected officials.  Anyone know off hand how many children of sitting congressmen actually served in Vietnam?  As best as I recall, the number is zero.  Or was that the number who died?

guess I am missing the point curly... if he (Bush) had more than enough points earned in every year of service and an honerable dishcharge then what does he have to prove?   that a memo is a forgery?

Beacause nobody cares about the honorable military services of both Bush and Kerry.  Kerry's shameful vietamese communist propaganga like betrayal of his country and his "brothers in arms" by depiting them all as worse than the hordes of genghis khan once he got back home is another matter entirely...

Yea libs, where was all this democratic party furor about military service when Bill Clinton ran??  Was it at Oxford, or maybe on a trip to Moscow like IIRC Clinton was during Vietnam???
