yep... signed hr 218/s.253 that allows off duty and retired officers CCW reciprosity throughout the nation..

Thousand so trained and armed cops are being put on the streets at a net cost to us, the taxpayer of.....

zero.. zilch... nada.

meanwhile... kerrie and fienstein cry and whine about the lapse of the useless assault weapons and hi capacity magazine ban....  

who ya votin for again RPM?

put the ban back on assault weapon for crying out loud!!!1

it basicly just made grenade launchers legal.:confused:

And yet we have an enemy who has been exploiting the same weapon so effectivly in Iraq?:confused:

ohh well we want another terrorist attack we will keep it in place.

i just read the article on it.

grenade launchers are included as in the ones that can be attached to an M16.

It did not outlaw "grenade launchers" .  For that matter, the civilian grenade launchers are of a different caliber than military ones and only have flares and smoke as options.

dotn get mad at him a great percentage of peopl e have no idea about guns or gun laws..its a shame but true..

alot of gun laws only really effect those that follow the laws. I mean if someone is going to use a gun in an illegal manner (murder and such), its not like hes all that worried about legally getting a gun. Black market or something

Yes, but there are more who abide by the laws than not.  And really, the assault weapons ban did not really accomplish much other than banning weapons that "looked" like they fit into that category.

Will you people never learn???

Grenade Launchers are legal, been legal, as are cannons and mortars.  Look on the ATF website about Class 3 weapons and "Destructive Devices"/

Go ahead B17, dont let ignorance influence your posts.

The freaking ambush rifle law basically outlawed bayonet mounts and flash suppressors, not much else.  And there are hundreds of thousands of the weapons and magazines already on the street.

The ban banned rifle grenade attachments on the rifles.  Not grenade launchers.
