Not just the RN but Merchant shipping too. Only 260 ships registered and owned in the UK. If we had to go to the Falklands again it'd be partly under a flag of convenience.

The Hunters are a subjected minority who are having their liberty to get squiffy on Pimms erroded by the facists in the mother of all Parliaments.

Lazs, you realise that those hunters stormed House of Commons right?  The gentry would NEVER storm anything man.  It just "isn't cricket" old chap....far too Plebian an act.

Guy Fawkes was never a holiday when I was in the UK.  Just an excuse to light a big bonfire and burn an effigy of the leader of the group who tried to blow up Parliament.

Maybe they do have a holiday now...but I doubt it.

Furball?

I heard the day the Royal Navy died was the day they got rid of the brandy.  At least that's what my neighbor says, a Brit-expatriot that served in the Royal Navy for a couple of decades.

Do they still publish Page Three?

If so, then all is not yet lost!
