Most people know a lie when they see it.

The fact that most of the world’s intelligence services and even the UN thought that Saddam had WMD doesn't equate to a lie.

Saddam at one point had and used WMD’s, the ball was in Saddam's court all he had to do was show that he was complying with the UN resolutions. Regardless of the WMD’s Saddam was not complying with the UN resolutions.

It’s only the ill informed like yourself who throw around "Bush lied about WMD’s". As such it’s a moot issue. Bush went into Iraq, Kerry voted to give Bush that authority. Kerry may flip flop back and forth on his own support but to many of us the fact that Saddam is gone is a good thing WMD’s or not.

Besides Kerry’s campaign is all about the war in Vietnam with little room to make WMD’s an issue.

It's not ok for an American president to lie to Americans. However, I could care less if he lies to anyone else. Well, depending on the situation of course.

You wanna know what I think? Saddam had WMDs. I think they are in Syria or buried.

No way, once the boogie man is away, greed would have shown the way to the stockpiles of WMDs.

You dont get it Maniac...

Even if everyone was upset by the WMD issue, which they arent because most people dont see it in your biased way "bush lied,"  Kerry couldnt take advantege of it because of his own stance and statements on Iraq..

And dont go saying this isnt about Kerry. We know you that want the US people to be mad at Bush about WMD so Kerry will win..

Well I tell you that just wont happeend with the WMD issue..

Why should it be?

Bush's story before the war: "We have definitive proof that there are Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq."

Bush's story immediately after the war: "We are confident that WMD will be found in Iraq. We know they're here..somewhere."

Bush's story after 6 months of no WMD found: "Uh, welll, we haven't found any WMD yet, but it's a big country, and uh, frankly, we know he had the capability of making WMD and was just about to do so"

Bush's story now: "WMD? We never said anything about WMD. The war in Iraq was fought to liberate an oppressed people. We liberated the Iraqi people and brought democracy to Iraq."

Can you say "Bait & Switch"?

IMHO, the WMD issue went past WAY to easy... (sp?). It really died out the way the Bush admin had predicted it would.

So im still a bit amazed that you can invade a country based on false information.

BS banana..

The war was always sold as being about WMD and the Liberation of Iraq's people from Saddam..

Just go look at Bush's PREWAR UN speeches, half WMD half liberating the iraqi people...

If you can prove to me that Bush actually said that I'll vote for Kerry.

Maybe banana will vote for Bush when I show him transcript of a major prewar  Bush speech that mentions both WMD and opression about equally..
