Although I think this thing borders on a kindergarten playground fight, I have to agree with Fork and Soda.

Play the arena.  It's fine for a player to request people stick to certain rides and even better for people to oblige.

But I don't think anyone has the right to attempt to enforce these things.

Hopefully with a more active and responsible CT staff in the near future this argument will become a mute point.

Just so this is clear.....when the arena reset, countries switched, and the planeset went to a mid-late war PAC setup.

After checking *each and every* field and CV for both sides, I found that one of the axis CV's had both allied and axis planes enabled... I posted this on the BB.  The rest of the fields and CV's had correct planeset's for both sides.  It was a *flyable* setup.

Back to the arena.... again the setup was flyable, both sides had competitive planes to fly, except for the one CV.   I politely requested of all players currently in the arena to fly the correct planes for their side...ie...Axis fly only Japanese from the porked CV.  Storch stated he was already in the air flying an F4U-4 (he was Axis).  I asked him to land it.  Well, he did....sorta :)

After finishing the flight, he didn't up any other "Allied" planes again, and from what was stated above, asked the same of his squad.

I wasn't trying to act as a "CT Admin".  I, as a CT regular, was only requesting that those currently in the CT (majority were CT regulars) to fly the planes for their side...for the CT players to act responsibly and fly only those planes that should have been enabled for their side.  I was trying to curb the whines/moans from anyone who came into the CT and would wind up encountering the same plane in a dogfight that they were flying for the other side....ala...the MA...something that I believe is the reason the majority us fly in the CT in the first place.

Obviously Storch heeded my request, case closed.  What is between him and Splash....is between him and Splash.

If it is not enough that we in the CT can't govern ourselves a little bit when the arena gets porked, then why even try to have unique setups.  When we start flying blue v. blue, or red v. red, just because they are "enabled" due to some kind of snafu, then the CT becomes nothing more than a mini-MA.

If when you say "govern ourselves" you mean each individual governing themselves, I agree with everything you said.

Very well spoken.
