Perfection. I would like to study how you achieved that dull matted look on the fuselage paint - did you put this one up as a .psd file to AH-SKINS? I'm trying to learn about the initial color choices, how they relate to reference colors posted at color reference web sites, and the affect changing opacity has on these - for example the beautiful dull yellow you have on the tiger head. Did you start with USAAF reference yellow of #FFB700?
Also, did you draw the tiger head freehand? I lifted mine from an decal image I found on the web, then tried distorting, scaling, and touching up sections of it to make it fit. Looks OK from a distance, but a real hatchet job up close.
As far as other P-40 subjects, given the mulitnational, multitheater nature of the P-40s service, could you do a North African desert RAF P-40E with shark mouth (Clive Caldwell's GA-Y)? Also, Geoff Atherton's RAAF P-40E "CLEOPATRA" serving in New Guinea would be a nice addition I think, and appreciated by Australian AHers.
Again, beautiful job, Citabria. Thanks!
