Skuzzy, what's up with the UDP loss?
« on: September 16, 2004, 10:56:43 AM »
Every time I log on I lose UDP at least once.  This AM fully 2/3 of the arena lost UDP at the same time.  Sometimes I'll stay around on TCP, and sometimes I get the old CTD.

Seems this problem isn't only relegated to myself.  Many others having the same issues in the MA.  If it was infrequent would think not a problem.....but this happens whenever I play.......and to many others also.

Skuzzy....what's up?

All the hurricane activity is causing massive problems in many areas of the Internet, causing ISP's to re-route to get around the downed areas.
This is overloading certain areas of the Internet.  It's a touhg one to make a call about.  Virtually every backbone provider is operating at overload conditions.
Phone companies, particularly Sprint have been dumping off data bandwidth to make room for the phone calls.
