Tracker Bass boats

I was thinking of getting a bass boat for around 12k. These seem to be nice.

Anyone have any thoughts on the "Tracker" brand boats?

Yes, I did.  I looked at these a while ago, came oh so close to buying one.  I like the Pro Team 185 w/ a motor upgrade.

Trackers are nice boats but they are OVERPRICED. Somebody has to pay Hank Parker & Jimmy Houston's endorsements.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.

Good boat for the price, all the boat most folks could ever need.

Go for the 4 cycle upgrade and larger power as they can be under-powered if you get the base power.

Use and enjoy often, you should have no regrets. I have a good friend now fishing in pro tournaments and he has one from a sponsor and really likes it, it's price retail was less then half what his other boat (Ranger) cost and he likes the ride better.

Great boat.  light, fast and stable a friend owns the 18' and as scotter said it's more boat than any of us will ever need.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Looks like I don't need to worry about Tracker being a bad choice.

If I end up with one, I'll post some pics of her in action.

You can come up to Phoenix ( 1.5 hour drive) and we'll do some fishing. A couple others have "first" dibs though :)

The game warden once gave me a ticket for it and I almost drowned ice fishing out of season.
