The sad part is I have actually done this, not with a squirrel but with a chipmunk. A number of years ago my family and I were camping in the ADKs on one of our normal summer trips. Well my father, brother and I always looked foward to the fishing part of the trip. This year the weather was horrible so one day sitting around the campsite watching the chipmunks chase down the peanuts we threw to them and idea came to our head. We grabbed the nearest pole tied the nut to the end and tossed it out, then slowly brought it back. Then you would see the little guy come running up grab ahold of it and thens when the fight was on lol, I mean they have some toughness when food is involved, usually he would hold on for a few seconds, long enought to get some fun out of it, then he would let go. But you could cast it right back out and he would go for it all over again, now eventually he would fight it enough where it would pop lose and he would run away with the bait. ahhhhhhhhh good times good times

Blue it was usually a different campground every year, we have stayed at Cranberry Ponds twice, Rollands Pond, Lewie Lake, Little Sacandaga, Great Sacandaga, Lake Champlain, there were a few other places but I cant remember them now. We never got up to Old Forge although my parents have gone up there a couple times now with friends and they love it. I have also back packed the Raquett lake area and alot of the area on the East side of the park.

Not as much fun as tying two cats tails together then draping them over a clothesline but that'll work :D

Yea, I had a neighbor do that once. It was hilarious.......not the cat part, but lighting his *** up with some 71/2 shot was too funny. He moved 2 days later.
Nothing like a grown man showing just how much of an insecure wimp he is by doing something like torturing an animal.
