Ok, recently my CDrom / DVD drive on my laptop has been acting wierd. Most of the time when I play a DVD, it'll freeze the DVD program somewhere in the middle. I have to shake the computer or tap the drive itself for it to play for a second. Sometimes, if I push in on the tray, it'll keep going.
Also, recently I tried burning a CD. I walked away for a moment and when I came back, it was spinning really fast and the CDr was partially ruined.
Now, I called up someone for tech support and they said it might be a software issue and that I should bring it in. Now, I have too much crap on this computer just to whipe it because some jerk is too lazy to install it the hard way, so what do you think I should do?
