On a 1 engine 38 the only way out of a stall spin like that is to shut the remaining engine off until you can recover.

i usually just select what ever eng im leaning towerds in the climb, and throttle it down for a sec, half way through the swing pump it back up, if i start helicoptering slow the other eng down.
i admit i pull this one eng manuver very few times, usually i can pull it off with some flaps at the top and if your angle is right say 70 degrees the p38 will swing around very naturally, almost rotating on the drag of the flaps like a pole. i actually did a controlled spin once, of 2 revolutions to over shoot some cons this way. havent been lucky enogh for it to work again tho:(
