28 year old drove "chicken" and died.
23-09-04: 20:20

A 28 year old man from Himmerland was killed today, when he on a moped crashed frontally into a car coming from opposite direction. The man was driving the moped on Blærevej [edit: ironically blærevej can be translated as swagger road] by Års, along with a friend he wanted to impress.

He pulled out onto the road and drove straight towards the car in an attempt to play "chicken". The point of the game, is that whoever turns first to avoid collision is the "chicken".¨

In this case the game had a fatal ending. The driver of the car was unharmed in the accident.

I'd say that would put him in the running.

I think the important thing is that the moped driver didn't turn, and therefore he's not a "chicken". He should be proud of that, at least.

Why did the "chicken" cross the road?

To get splattered by a much larger vehicle.

Maybe the moped driver did us all a favor by removing himself from the gene pool :D
