CV Poppie Memorial flight
« on: September 23, 2004, 08:57:22 PM »
All,
Just to let everyone who knew him know. CV Poppie, the CO of the 169th SSF, past away in his sleep. The Squad is devestated, but we are organizing a memmorial flight Friday night at approximately 8:00pm. All Rooks will be welcome and encouraged to attend. Bish and Knights please respect this. We will constantly updating the 200 channel, so there shouldn't be any confusion. Best wishes to his family. Fair winds and following seas to CV Poppie.

Regards,
Roman

Is it possible to allow all "countries" to participate?  I would not mind paying my respects, but I fly Knight.  I'd even empty out my guns completely to avoid any "accident."  I am sure there are others that would like to participate and honor him from both the Rooks side and his adversaries on the Bishop and Knight side.

to CVPoppie and my prayers and sympathies to his family.

During a vulcano dive ( used to be one in Hitechs games) no fire will be exchanged within a perimeter determined by a referee.

RIP poppie

Luck had nothing to do with it. Neither did skill. I really have no idea what did have to do with it. What was the question again?

The flight is scheduled to take place at 8pm eatern. There will be a mission starting out at one of the rook bases. No shots will be fired by the flight. Identify your intensions and we will do our best to make sure that you are not fired upon. Just fly up and form up with us. Poppie would really be happy if there were reps. from all 3 countries.

Roman
