Ricky ordered to pay Dolphins back his $8.6 mill signing bonus.

Ouchie!!

I wonder if he'll suit up before this season is over?

I know I need to find 1 more good RB for my fantasy team.

He can't.  He is facing a year suspension for violating the league anti-drug policy if he ever comes back.

Ricky deserves whatever he gets for running out on his team like that.  He won't be back with anyone this year, you can bet on that.  Somebody may take a chance on him next year, but he'll still have to serve a 4 game suspension so it'll be a short season.

Spoiled little rich kid that didn't give a flip about anyone but himself....

It's hard to have any sympathy for someone who was making all that money and threw it away because he wanted more or couldn't resist getting high.  Maybe it's "cool" to be one of the guys and be the latest on your block to throw away 8 million on a drug bust?

Fu**ing retard.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I believe it was a four game suspension.

In defense of williams I did read that he suffered from social anxiety disorder and could not stand the meds that the docs gave him for it.   Pot seemed to be the only thing that mellowed him out enough to deal w/ people......that's just what I read.

BUT,

For that kinda money I think I would suck it up or leave the game.  Being active duty military I'm not allowed to do drugs just because they make me feel better.....I got to jail for a year then get discharged as a convicted felon.  So really no sympothy from me for him.  Hope he can afford the 8.6 mil though.

I think the pot had alot too do with it, but I will give him credit. For once someone who choses to gets paid tons of money to be in the spotlight but cant handle it bows up. Too often we see celebrities ***** and moan about how they dont have any privacy and they dont want to talk to people, I say suck it up a-holes it comes with the territory.

The drug policy is silly... I can understand the rationale for banning performance enhancing drugs...

Waitaminute...

No, I don't understand the rationale. Why bother? Americans have an insatiable appetite for bigger, better, faster, more. Let's just give it to 'em. Let the athletes do all the drugs they want. The highlight reels will be spectacular.

...and hell... In what world does marijuana enhance performance?

Guys, he didn't like to play football, period.  He is a great player, could be the best, but he doesn't WANT to.  It ain't the weed, the screwing of the team, he just doesn't want to play.

missing the point

What sux is that we as consumers are willing to pay 8 million dollars worth of added advertising costs for products we buy so that we can watch the dummy run up and down a field.

Don't get me wrong.  The players should get everything they can for what they do.  If they don't get it, the owners just get richer for being the owners.  Let the players grab as much as they can.

What I don't understand is why collectively we willingly pay billions to watch sports dip-****s hit each other, while our jobs are outsourced oversea and our children go to school in portables.

Our priorities are so screwed up that Ricky could be a poster child for America.

Wow that certainly hit home.

What can ya say?

I think we all need to step back and take a deep breath. And give ourselves something of a reality check.

Who cares about football?....

STOP THE OUTSOURCING!

Hey, I just re-read my post, and it sounds really angry.  Sorry.

I'm irritated, but not angry.

And, frankly, I'm dissapointed I'll be missing NHL games this year. I'll pay a few extra bucks to watch those guys skate, pass, shoot, and hit.  ;)
