Anyone in UK watch this?  Pretty good eh?!  Lots of footage I've never seen again, if it's on again it definitely be worth recording!

Yeah ditto that, I thought the dramatization parts were going to ruin it but it was very nicely done, plus gave an insight into how the average LW pilot viewed the whole thing.

Not sure we had 'spy planes' back in 1940 though as Snow Snr seemed to think, plus 109E's weren't exactly 'bristling' with machine guns.

My God, what a grumpy old sod I've become ;)

The only thing that dissapointed me about it was the guncams used.

Ive seen tons of amazing guncams that would have given the uninitiated viewer a better idea of the action that took place.  Too many had no action whatsoever.

But the 'pilot' actors played their part well, and the graphics employed (which I had reservations about) were good.

Id watch it again :)

One thing I was surprised with was that they didn't go into the usual detail of MG vs cannon and why the Hurricane shot more down than the Spitfire.  I found this very refreshing, especially the demonstration of G forces as well!

I was a bit surprised they showed RAF Cottesmore Air Traffic Control too (the scenes with the radar and view from the tower).  I worked there briefly so was surprised to see people I knew! :)
