Just about anyplace online has Athlon 2600 XP+ for 89 bucks.  Its my next purchase in upgrading my old one.  Step up to 2.0 ghz and a bigger cache, and if your MOBO supports it, faster bus speed.

some of the older mainboards cant go past 2.0 ghz and or dont support the faster bus speeds , some can be modifyed with a bios update and Flash (but be warned a bios flash can be tricky bizness)

post up your mainboard type and we'll take a look .
