Can we trust CBS

I bet toronto would love to see the state of Israel wiped clean from the face of the earth.  The anti semitism consistent in his quotes is absolutely shocking coming from someone on the left.  I am flat out astonished that someone who thinks themselves to be quite enlightened compared to the rest of us can have opinions like that.  Guess Germany shoulda finished the job, eh?

have 3,

as far as finishing this war we were finished when we started it.  there was nothing that needed to be accomplished in Iraq.
we shouldn't have been there from that start, and if you want to check back through the BBS you'll see that I was saying this way more often before we went than I do now.

how long ago was it that Bush was saying he has an exit strategy?  with the election coming up it would probably help his campaign to go ahead and let us know what day he has penciled in to bring our guys home.

1) Not many news stations are free from bias. I don't trust completely ANY news source at face value. Doesn't mean they're always wrong, but definitely not always right.

2) Unbiased??!! Honest??!!  LOLOLOL!!! ...uhm, No. I havent seen F.9/11 so I can't comment on it. Bowling for Columbine was funny in spots, but honest? Don't know, but doubt some of it (as he represented it).

3) Doubt it.
Men fear thought as they fear nothing else on earth -- more than ruin -- more even than death.... Thought is subversive and revolutionary, destructive and terrible, thought is merciless to privilege, established institutions, and comfortable habit. ... Bertrand Russell

No

I don't trust CBS now anymore than I did 10 years ago.

Matter of fact I don't trust ANY network.

I may watch and listen but I don't let them do my thinking for me.

BTW I love how this became a bash Bush thread after a simple yes or no question.
I have been reborn a new man!

Notice I never said a better man.

captn... I don't care how well informed the subscribers to a news service are just how honest and good the news is.

I pretty much gave up on the newspaper and news for about 10 years now... the liberal agenda of allmost every "reporter" is depressing and disgusting... the lack of content and sensationalism and repetitive unimformed guessing is depressing.

if something major happens like an election or war I will watch fox... it is probly no more honest than the others like cnn but it is more upbeat.   Less liberal doom and gloom.

the rest I can pull out of my puter or hear about it from co workers.... if it sounds interesting enough I will check into it.
