I can't remember the occasion but recently and for the first time in a while he was answering some general media questions and while most were on Iraq were he can just repeat the usual "freedom, thugs and assasins" lines. You can see he lacked confidence and found it dificult to answer some questions. One series of questions he resorted to a sort of "Hmmm" and didn't answer them at all.

He stumbles and mumbles alot. Why unless he has a speech he rarely takes questions on his own, which is unusual given the amouint going on these days and that the country is suppose to be at war.

Wrong.   Have you ever attended a speech?

Any other crap you care to invent for the sake of your position?

Its waffling.....

Yikes!  Are you sure you are talking about Bush and not Kerry?

Can you site examples of Bush's waffling?  If you want I can site numerous examples of Kerry doing so.

I watched a couple of sessions of this and it was intense!!!
Would be a nice feature in the US as a reform to current procedures..

Why do I have to attend when I can watch on TV? Comes out gives a speech and leaves. Compared to Blair he hardly answers questions at all. I don't need to invent stuff for the sake of my position. But then your probably so pro Bush he could say the world is flat and you'd believe him.

So the argument is a dead duck, really.

Won't bother watching it anyway, just read this in a news story. What a waste of time, nothing but another media show. Wonder why they even call it a debate.

Wonder whether it's a election to decide who the next President is or on who spent the most money and had the best media coverage.

Really like to see Bush face questions one day in the same way Blair does.

"Almost every conceivable detail has already been agreed between the two campaigns in a 32-page memorandum."

"Neither will be allowed to quiz the other and all comments must be made through the moderator, Jim Lehrer of the Public Broadcasting Service. "

""It basically is ensuring that there will be a healthy exchange of ideas. There’ll be a lot of topics covered. No gimmicks, no tricks, no sudden surprises, so that we really can have a debate that’s dominated by the issues," Karen Hughes, an adviser to Mr Bush, said yesterday. "

Bah, you guys are crazy...the debates are a must see.

I agree, they shouldn't be called "debates" though. I always watch them anyway.

The debates are too restricted. No direct questioning between the candidates. But to see which animatronic won, check out The Daily Show's live post debate wrap-up.
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
