Wow Nash.  You seem super sensitive.  While I scrolled down the posts you seem to be on average every second or third post.

Are you compensating for something?

[edit]  63 posts so far.  28 are Nash's.  That's over 1/3.

I think it was one of those debates where those who like Bush will say he won...and Kerry supporters will say their guy won.

Kerry's weird stats ($200 billion spent when less than $120 billion has been spent......only the rich got tax cuts, yet the tax cuts cut rates for *all* taxpyers, etc etc) threw me.  He seemed to "toss in" these jabs as the clock ticked down.

Then for Bush, he rambles a bit and is just tough to sit and listen to.  I admire him for coming across as an average guy.  But for goodness sake, show me you've rehearsed your responses.  My Speech Teacher would've beat the "Umm's" out of him by now!

I like Bush, nothing really changed there.  Kerry came off as lecturing at times.

I watched the debate down at my local.  The concesus, "This is the best that the US can come up with?".

The solution, "Kick them both in the junk.".

Blooz,

"Bush has a plan too and his is working."

You are out of your ****ing mind, at least to all the people that are employed to make such assessments.

Yes, I think you're whacko for supporting Kerry, but I still luv ya.

Take a shot at this:  How is Kerry "viable" about Iraq?

Heh, Kerry has a plan (as ill founded it may or may not be) for turning around the circumstances there.  What's Bush's?  Things are getting worse and worse.  What is the projected out come of "staying this course"?  What's Bush's solution to it?

That'll happen next week when Cheney swallows that pansy from NC whole.

After sleeping on the debate, my mind hasn't changed.  Kerry won on points.  If swing voters saw teary eyes instead some other cause to the blinking, Kerry will gain some ground.  Personally, I don't think anybody is going to run a story saying 'Bush cried' (ESPECIALLY since he didn't try to wipe anything out of his eyes).

Kerry did better in the debate then Bush, but it won't win him much when the effect filters down through the electoral college.

All told, I think Kerry's 'constant' position is indefensible.  He approved of the war in Iraq, but not how it was prosecuted because Bush didn't pull together more allies, yet he would never allow another country to decide when we go to war.  If I understand him correctly, then I don't like his logic.

I don't really care much for Kerry either, but Bush has to be the worst public speaker in politics. He really does seem to have no idea at all on how to answer questions or carry a debate.

If it had been a proper debate where they could question each other and away with all the rules it really would of been something to watch.

Just amazes me how someone that is so bad at public speaking can be in politics in the first place let alone president.

Again, I think George did great.  We have always known that he wasn't a good speaker.

So.. fine... Kerry wins the "best debate performance" catagory

but on substance I think George took him down.  GW was on the defense most of the time but I think that he didn't give any ground.

btw... I'm not a GWB fan but Kerry didn't give any reasons why HE should be president besides that he'll work hard and that he has this nebulus miracle plan that will save the world.
