What.. do you mean defend a base?

If you are saying you log off when the DAR goes down, you are hereby branded.

Man your missing it!
When the dar goes down the pucker factor goes WAY up!

Course I'm used to having dar in tower only
(and guys who'd take the time to vector you to a con) In my mind it added a lot to the game. You live or die on your own wits, not the dar.

Come on, give it a shot next time!
Take off from a rear field (bring lots of fuel) & grab 20k or so & go into cruise mode.

I tend to ask any country men who trying to stop the raid on our HQ who did it, nits or bish, and then go after their city and HQ w/ a vengence.  More often than not we drive right to their city and knock thier dar net down for 2.5hrs

And once we've got that foothold and they're blacked out it's just a matter of keeping them busy and taking something they're not looking at since they can't see it

I don't like the arcade radar mode anyways.  When it goes down the immersion factor goes up, along with the aforementioned pucker factor.

Best thing to do when your radar goes down is... Knock down the enemy's radar!
