B-to-the-E? What moron came up with THIS?

B-to-the-E will be slightly sweet but tart, coming in the aromas of blackberry, raspberry and cherry.

Anheuser-Busch trumpeted itself as the first major brewer to infuse beer with caffeine, ginseng and guarana, a caffeine-bearing herb.

This stuff has something like 6.6% alchohol also, but I have to imagine you will get sick of the taste and caffine before you get drunk. Then again I have watched people drink things a whole lot worse just to get hammered.

sounds like they are ripping off drew Carey's  'Buzz beer'.

in my early 20's we used to drink "jumper cables" (a rum and coke made from Bacardi-151 and Jolt cola).  while any attorney would advise me not to give details, I can tell you that it was not a good thing.  just a real bad idea from the ground up to wake your body up while you put your judgment to sleep.

There's a drink like that already out.

Higher alcohol content, it's called "Sparks". Comes in an orange/silver can so it looks like an energy drink.

7.2% malt liqour, mixed with all of that other energy stuff.

Some friends and I tried it out one night.

Indeed, pumped up and drunk is not so much a good idea. It is fun, right up to the point the energy wears off and you are realise you are ****ing plastered.

Thats why I don't buy any US beer to begin with.  My preference is Harp, Guinness and Newcastle.  However, I have yet to turn down a free beer.

I won't drink a Bud or Miller.  I just have water if there is no micro-brew to drink. Lifes too short to waste it on ****ty tasting beer.

Sound snobbish? Tough. I've had my fill of crappy beer over the years.  I drink for flavor, not for the alcohol, so the taste is really important to me.

Looks like they're cheating you on the size of the can, too.
