Yes, For the most part they complied with the RLM's directive in 1942 to remove individual Gruppe/Stafflen non-standard markings.

The General of Dayfighters was an Ex-GeschwaderKommanduer.
He did play favourites with JG 26 too.

With some notable exceptions of course. Guys like Heinz Gehrke, who kept "Pikus" the cat for most of the war. In his words, "It was against official policy but I followed the policy of why the hell not!"

Here is another one that would be nice to see. This is a FW-190A8/R8 Sturmjager from the Sturmstaffel which later became IV/JG3.

Don't worry about the personal emblem. It was handdrawn and only on the plane a couple of days. The majority of the time "White 14" flew without it.

This is the plane one of the guys helping me out with my book flew until the unit was disbanded.

This was flown by Feldwebel Oscar Boesch.

I believe it is the default skin Wurger. Least it was in AH1.
