They've blocked allowing prescription drugs into this country from Canada. We're going to allow it.

That sounds like outsourcing an entire multi-billion industry to me!

Out-sourcing is a facet of capitalism, and a consequence of basics economics.

With our free trade agreement with the US, our Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS - where the government negotiates deals with australian drug companies so certain drugs are available at a greatly reduced price) had to have legislation to stop american drug companies who want to eliminate the PBS and it's price controls.
