Please help me start a small contingency fund to assist Eagler's family when Kerry wins the election. We suspect the news will be too much for him to take, and his head may explode.

The bulk of the fund will go for cleaning supplies.

Someone hasn't viewed the polls today.

MT - I think it's going to be okay, after all...

While I get where yer coming from, I doubt it will be necessary.

Understand... As we get closer to Kerry's election, you will begin to see a shift here on the BBS.

It will be as if Kerry's win was *always* a certainty. And that they merely lament the sad but ever-clear reality of it, is all.

"Politics suck!" and "Where are the real leaders!!?!"  will begin to creep much larger into our threads than they have even in the last 2 weeks.

By the time the Inauguration rolls around, it will be as if Kerry was a sad and disappointing, but always forgone, conclusion.

No.... Folks like Eagler have coping strategies. They may look strange to some of us, but hey..... whatever works.

I fully expect Bush to win and win big. If Kerry wins, I could only say that I would have been suprised but I won't be "spinning" here it in any way.
