Theresa Heinz Kerry: More Weird Chatter
« on: October 08, 2004, 07:33:51 AM »
Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry appeared on "Dr. Phil" yesterday. Some highlights, from HOTLINE:

THK, asked if she ever wanted daughters: "Yes. ... I had some miscarriages. I have several pinkies in heaven. I call them pinkies."

This could be our first lady. Sure it's a meaningless title, but she she would represent the USA in some ways.

And to think some people want this as their first lady:

ewwww

I am sure it had nothing to do with all the money either (right, after all his history teaches us he is all about integrity, lol)  Maybe it is because she is such a refined gentile lady of class and breeding  (quote: "shove it)  No, maybe not that either. Must be the money.

Sorry, Dago.

Pinkie is worse than "Shove it"

A new low.

I showed that article to 2 women in the office today.

Suddenly, this office has 2 more Bush voters.

"Shove it" showed a lack of class.  "Pinkie" showed a whole differant side, and not a pretty one.  Lack of human qualities maybe, and while the words don't come to mind to describe what I think of her saying that, I think it reflects on her total self-absorption.

You guys can make a mountain out of a frigging mole hill.

Bluies are boys, pinkies are girls.  You know, blue outfits for boys and pink outfits for girls.

That is what I got out of that comment.  What the heck are you guys thinking of?

I am thinking of the respect that someone might have for a child that did not survive to live.  I am thinking of grieving and a sense of loss.  Not cute little generic names lumping them together like the  goldfish in your pond that had all just died.

You are making a whole lot of assumption about this woman.

Her miscarriages happened years ago.  Pretty presumptious that you think she didn't grieve.  I'm betting she sure as hell did grieve...in ways you and I have no comprehension of (us being men).

I have a little bit of an idea, my wife miscarried in a bad way while we lived in the middle east.  I still regret the child we never got to hold, and I sure as hell don't have some stupid pet name for that child.

I can sympathize with her loss, and expect she did regret and grieve the losses.  Maybe the name helps her cope, but I just don't particularly care for it.
